A quest to find someone to check over the numbers, that the City's Financial office delivers by way of its Annual Financial Statements is the focus for the latest Request for Proposals from the City of Prince Rupert.
Posted to the BC Bid Website on Tuesday, the request is a fairly basic advisory.
The City of Prince Rupert invites qualified audit firms to submit proposals for auditing the financial statements of the City of Prince Rupert.
The Closing date for those with an interest in the opportunity is set for 3PM on July 14th
To submit your interest follow the instructions on the BC Bid website

I hope the plan includes the Legacy Fund and CityWest otherwise it is sort of a waste of money.
ReplyDeleteTaxpayers will never have true transparency in city financials everything is public.
Legacy is audited every year as per legal requirements, they are on the city website. Always someone complaining about transparency
DeleteI would like to know if CityWest is making or losing money. A yearly financial statement would help.
