Mechanical difficulties put Northern Adventure behind schedule

Travellers to and from Prince Rupert to Haida Gwaii are facing a bit of a delay in their travel plans as BC Ferries outlines a Service Delay for the sailing schedule of the Northern Adventure.

BC Ferries issued a Service Notice at the noon hour on Thursday outlining that the vessel was two hours behind schedule owing to unidentified mechanical difficulties.

Yesterday, BC Ferries outlined the nature of mechanical troubles with the elevator, stair lift and stair climber on board the vessel.
