Engine repairs for Northern Expedition make for travel delay for Haida Gwaii run today

Engine Repairs for the Northern Expedition have made for a revised
departure time today for the Prince Rupert-Skidegate service


Repairs required on a cylinder head for the BC Ferries vessel Northern Expedition will mean a delay in the scheduled sailing for today, with the Ferry service providing an update on the maintenance this morning.

In their advisory, BC Ferries notes that engineers are currently in the process of replacing the part with the plan to Depart for Skidegate at 3PM today.

The return trip to Prince Rupert will cross over from Haida Gwaii at midnight, with the vessel then turning around and making it's Port Hardy run as scheduled at 11 AM Friday night.
