CityWest to host Community Forum in Fraser Lake as ongoing expansion continues

CityWest is hosting a Town Forum in Fraser Lake next week

The CityWest travelling road show is heading inland, with the CityWest communications team set to head to the community of Fraser Lake next week, for a one day Community forum to share word of the upcoming fibre optic build for the region.

Last summer the City of Prince Rupert owned communication company announced plans to partner up with Fraser Lake for the Fibre-Optic work, making for the latest community to get placed on the CityWest map.

Next week's town forum will take place on Tuesday, February 7th from 6:30 to  8PM in the Autumn Service building.

A Social Media post today advised residents of the region that  they will have opportunity to ask questions of the CityWest delegation about what the fibre-optic program will offer their community.

The trip towards the Nechako region follows on the success of last months travels to Haida Gwaii, where CityWest officials spoke to the Connected Coast work that will bring services to communities such as Daajing Giids, Massett and Old Massett,  Skidegate and Tlell.

For those who already have CityWest service, this month offers a chance to gain a bit of cash for your referrals to friends, with a 75 dollar credit to be delivered to both the existing customer and the newcomer to the CityWest fold.

  1. When is Prince Rupert’s forum. I really would like to know when it is scheduled for fibre optics in Crestview?
I could care less about Fraser Lake!
