Soccer Season approaches with registration coming for Outdoor Season and upcoming Futsal Fridays


While we're just flipping the calendar to February today, the Prince Rupert Youth Soccer Association has April on its mind and the start of the 2023 Youth Soccer season.


Early Bird Registration for the Outdoor game is coming up from February 25th to March 11th leading up to the April 17th start on the pitch.

There are seven groupies for play this year as outlined below:

U5 – Timbits Active Start (2018) Early Bird Rate - $60 February 25th - March 11th 

U6 – Timbits Active Start (2017) Early Bird Rate - $60 February 25th - March 11th 

U8 – Grassroots Division (2016 / 2015) Early Bird Rate - $100 February 25th - March 11th 

U10 – FUNdamentals Division (2014 / 2013) Early Bird Rate - $100 February 25th - March 11th 

U12 – League 1 (2012 / 2011) Early Bird Rate - $125 February 25th - March 11th 

U14 – Championship (2010 / 2009) Early Bird Rate - $125 February 25th - March 11th  

U16+ – Premier (2008 / 2007 / 2006 / 2005) Early Bird Rate - $125 February 25th - March 11th

The Association also reminds parents and guardians of the opportunities for funding through the Disport program which you can review here.




For those who need their Footie fix before April, the popular Futsal program is relaunching for 2023, with the first sessions coming up from February 24 to March 31st.

Registration for the Futsal Friday program takes place starting February 11th.

Group 1 (2018;2017;2016 birth years) 5:45 pm - 6:30 pm 

Group 2 (2015;2014.2013 birth years) 6:45 pm - 7:30 pm 

Group 3 (2012; 2011; 2010, 2009 birth years) 7:45 pm - 8:45 pm

The Association also notes that they will be opening an online store later this spring, with the process from PRYSA apparel sales to be direct towards funding their Project Ts'mtsaaw initiative, which will move the Fustal version of the game to the Canfisco Space near Rusbhrook.
