Chamber of Commerce shifts Golf Tournament to September

With some increased interest found towards the 2023 Prince Rupert and District Chamber of Commerce Golf Scramble, the event has been shifted to a September date, with September 30th the new date, with a 9AM start planned for day of golfing at the Prince Rupert Golf Club.

With some extra time, the Chamber has also been lining up some additional sponsors for the event, which increases the awareness of the event, as well as the prize potential for those taking part.

The event will also take on a Truth And Reconciliation approach with a portion of the money raised from the event to be donated to an Indigenous organization still to be named.

The event is a 9 Hole/Shotgun Start Sramble.

There are 72 player spots available, based on four members a team.

A Dinner follows the nine holes of golf at 5PM

Fees for the event are $375 for a team of 4, Individual Golfers at $100 each

The Camber has been listing off their sponsors as more and more join in towards the September event, you can take note of where the support is coming from through the Chamber's Social Media Stream.
