September brings Culinary smorgasbord to North Pacific Cannery Historical Site through its Flavours of the Cannery program

As the summer season comes to a close for North Pacific the historical site
is set to offer up some fine dining through its Flavours of the Cannery program

Port Edward's North Pacific Cannery Historical Site is preparing to wind down the summer season with tempting culinary experience for residents of the region,

For Five weeks from September 9th to October 7th the Cannery hosts are providing for five themed dinners, which will feature the fare from the four major ethnic groups that lived and worked at North Pacific.

The line up ahead features, European, Chinese, Japanese and First Nations Culinary selections, as well as a surprise dinner to wrap it all up in October.

Each evening is available for single reservations at 60 dollars per night, or 280 dollars for the five course options for the Flavours of the Cannery experience.

Only 40 tickets are available for each event, Dining will take place from 6 to 9 PM

Best move quickly though, an update this week notes that the Japanese Dinner for September 24th has already sold out.

The Flavours of the Cannery program is just one of a number of special events that have served to create a destination experience for the Port Edward Cannery, the short drive in from Prince Rupert well worth a transit to see what's new and what's planned for the popular venue in the region.
