Third Avenue West set to gain commercial addition as Sullivan Mechanical develops property

 

Sullivan Mechanical is making a move to the downtown core

Some commercial redevelopment is taking place for the western end of Third Avenue West, with Sullivan Mechanical taking on some work around the former Argosy Building just down from the Pacific Inn.

Some land clearing and levelling was taking place over the last few weeks on the site which has access to the land that is between the Pacific Inn and the old Fisherman's Hall.

The Plumbing and Mechanical contractor currently has offices located in the Prince Rupert Industrial Park on Kaien Road. There's no indication on the storefront towards when any move in may take place.

The work underway on Third makes for some of the first redevelopment of land for commercial use in the downtown area for a while. 

Hopefully, it may spur on further development of the land between the building and the Pacific Inn, that was once housing units which were destroyed following a fire on Third in June of 2019.

The lots have remained empty since the fire investigation closed on month later.
