SuperHost training for business that interact with visitors to Prince Rupert is being offered this spring at the Hecate Strait offices on First Avenue East |
Tourism related businesses in the Prince Rupert area can take advantage of the opportunity for some SuperHost training this spring, with Tourism Prince Rupert and Hecate Strait Employment Development Society providing for a free training program.
Designed for business that interact with visitors to the city, the program will offer up to 56 frontline staff members access to the SuperHost program in advance of the 2024 tourism season.
The sessions are set for the Hecate Strait offices on First Avenue East with the four dates for training as follows:
Wednesday, March 20th
Thursday, March 21st
Saturday, April 6th
Thursday, April 18th
Time for the sessions is noted as 9am - 5pm
Organizers note that there is an eligibility requirement for the program.
Participants must be able to demonstrate regular interactions with visitors as a key element of their role.
