Tourism Prince Rupert's "Nothing to See Here" program continues through July

Showcasing the North Coast has found Tourism Prince Rupert making use of social media this summer to highlight the many visual treats of the region with an interesting twist .. asking locals and visitors alike to show some of their favourite locations with the irreverent turn of phrase of "nothing to see here" a clear play on the concept that there is much to see across the region.

The brand marketing adventure which is using Instagram, twitter and Facebook asks that readers watch for the most recent #Nothingtoseehere post from Visit Prince Rupert and include a tag for a friend as you post it.

Participants can also submit their own #Nothingtoseehere photos to social media.

As part of the awareness campaign, Tourism Prince Rupert is offering up a range of prizes to win for those that participate.

The Prize parade through June and July includes:

June 22 -- Outer Coast Outfitters
June 29 -- Wheelhouse Brewing/Cargo Kitchen
July 6th -- Crest Hotel
July 13th -- Prince Rupert Adventure Tours

The Awareness project will come to an end later this summer with a Grand Prize package that provides for one more chance to explore the North Coast, with departure points of Calgary, Edmonton or Vancouver.
