Third mild temblor of weekend reported off of Haida Gwaii

Three mild temblors have been
recorded off the Southern tip
of Haida Gwaii this weekend
The fault line running along coastal British Columbia has been rattling a bit through the weekend, with the third of three mild earthquakes recorded this evening shortly after 8 PM.

The 4.1 magnitude quake was noted in much the same area as two others from yesterday,  some 281 kilometres South of Prince Rupert just off the southern tip of Haida Gwaii, this evenings temblor was recorded at 8:14 PM and had a depth of 19.96 kilometres

Much like the previous two temblors of yesterday, no tsunami warning was generated by the seismic event and no indication that the event was even noticed on Haida Gwaii has been reported to this point.

This weekend's mini swarm of events comes as part of a renewed bit of activity in the area between Haida Gwaii and Vancouver Island in recent months.
