Adverse weather results in sailing delay for Northern Expedition

The current state of the weather conditions between Prince Rupert and Haida Gwaii have resulted in a sailing delay for the Northern Expedition.

The westbound journey of the Prince Rupert-Skidegate route was scheduled to depart Prince Rupert at 10 AM, however owing to the weather conditions that departure now delayed at least until 11:30 AM at the earliest.

The forecast through the morning for Haida Gwaii is calling for Rain ending by this afternoon, with winds from the Southeast at 90 km/h, gusting to 110 km/h at times.  It's anticipated they will ease towards the noon hour period. You can access more details on the weather on Haida Gwaii here.
