An opportunity for local residents and community groups to get their hands a little dirty is coming up later this month as the North Pacific Cannery Historical Site hosts its first ever Spring Work Bee at the Cannery site in Port Edward.
With the Summer tourist season fast approaching there are a number of jobs large and small that need to be addressed at one of the region's most popular destinations and management at North Pacific are turning to the community to lend a hand with the Spring touch up.
The Work Bee is set for April 22nd from 1 to 4 PM and North Pacific notes that they have jobs for everyone that can offer their time on the Saturday.
If you want more information on what's involved in the Spring Work Bee contact Laurie at the Port Edward Cannery, at 250-600-0884
