Latest City of Prince Rupert job op takes you to the Police station

The latest City of PR job opportunity
can be found at the RCMP detachment
An opportunity to get your foot in the door with the City of Prince Rupert's employment pool is now available through the city's RCMP detachment, with the City posting a clerical position as part of their Help wanted listings on the city website.

The casual time position, which is part of the CUPE Local 105 agreement, is designed to provide for holiday and sick time coverage for the full time staffers at the detachment, with the job posting noting that the position reports to the RCMP office manager.

The successful applicant will be motivated with excellent interpersonal skills and must be a team player. The successful applicant will have a professional attitude, a sound knowledge of administrative functions and possess the ability to work and prioritize in a busy environment. 

Applicants must be detail-oriented and be able to anticipate upcoming needs and take appropriate action on their own initiative.

The ability to maintain confidentiality is one of the key aspects for the post, and towards that employment will be contingent upon the successful completion of a security clearance the RCMP Enhanced Reliability level.
