Another rumble for the West Coast of Vancouver Island

A moderate earth movement was recorded off of
Vancouver Island on Sunday afternoon, one of a number that
have rolled along the fault lines in the last few weeks

While not quite the same magnitude as last weeks string of 6 plus earthquakes, the fault line running alongside the west coast of Vancouver Island shifted again today, with a 4.0 magnitude event recorded at 16:24 Sunday afternoon.

Located at 143 kilometres to the west of Tofino, it was centred just south of the location which delivered repeated seismic events of over 6.1 magnitude last Sunday.

No Tsunami advisory was generated by the Sunday afternoon temblor
