Through the summer staff of the CityWest Community Channel have been collecting stories and remembrances from those who have served in Canada's Armed Forces, part of their programming planning for this November surrounding Remembrance Day.

The program "We Remember Them" will hear from veterans about their experiences from the days of World War II up to more recent engagements with the Armed Forces, with the community channel still reaching out to those who may wish to contribute to the programming.

Chris Armstrong from CityWest outlined the focus of the program to air this fall.

We are still looking for guests for ‘We Remember Them’ This project started because we have lost a lot of the vets already that haven’t had a chance to tell their story. We Remember them is about paying tribute to the veterans in the area, old and young. This is the chance for them to tell their story not only about their deployment, but life before and after it.

If you know someone who maybe interested contact CityWest by email at communitytv@cwct.ca  or by phone at 1-844-445-8665
