Haunted Hall beckons as Gitmaxmak'ay Nisga'a Society makes ready for Halloween

The return of the Haunted House of the Nisga'a Hall will make for just one of many stops in the run up to Halloween this year, with the youth of the Gitmaxmak'ay Nisga'a Society look to add to success of their past haunted houses.

The Basement of the Nisga'a Hall will serve as the destination for those who dare, with a two dollar entry fee the required admission to explore what the creative minds of Prince Rupert's youth have created for your haunting pleasure.

The event which takes place on Tuesday evening October 30th starts at 6PM.

Those that wander through the Haunting of the Hall are reminded to upload their video walkthrough of the Haunted House to qualify for prizes that will be awarded after the House closes for the year.

You can get updates on the haunting ahead from the Gitmaxmak'ay Nisga'a Society Facebook page and twitter feed.

The Haunted House at the Nisga'a Hall is one of a number of events coming up as we head towards Halloween next Wednesday.

The Gitmaxmak'ay Society is also hosting a Public Swim at the Earl Mah Aquatic Centre on Sunday from 2 to 4 PM.

Some of the other activities taking place include:

North Pacific Cannery Historical site hosts Terror at the Cannery and their own Chamber of Horrors this weekend, with the site open to those who dare on Sunday from Noon until 3 PM.

Tuesday night the 30th, the Lester Centre hosts what may become another Halloween tradition for the North Coast, with a viewing of the film classic Rocky Horror Picture Show and as it is across North America, the audience participation will most likely overshadow the film itself.

The ultimate destination for the end of October is Halloween Fest at the Civic Centre and the Fireworks of the evening on the 31st.
