City of Prince Rupert prepares to kick a few tires

The City of Prince Rupert is about to replenish some of its vehicle fleet, with a Request for Bids recently posted to the BC Bid website.

The call for bids involves a trio of Trucks both 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton, with a timeline of sixteen weeks for delivery from the time of the order.

The deadline for bids is 2 PM Friday, February 15th, with any inquiries related to the process to be directed towards Jose Soares, the Assistant Operations Manager at the City of Prince Rupert.

The City will hold a public opening of the bids on February 19th at the Public Works Department on Wantage Road.

Once acquired the three trucks will be put into service through the Public Works Department.

You can review the specifications for each of the three vehicles from the BC Bid website here.
