CityWest helps to stock the shelves of area food banks

CityWest's Interim CEO Tina Lussier
outlines how the Prince Rupert based
communication company is helping food banks
Prince Rupert based communication company CityWest has stepped up to lend a hand to food banks in the communities within its service region, making for a 24,000 dollar donation to help out services that on their best days have a giant need to fill but of late are feeling the strain in the midst of the current COVID-19 situation.

In an update on the CityWest website, Tina Lussier, who is the interim CEO of CityWest outlined the nature of the company donation.

“We know that food security is a top concern, especially among the more vulnerable people who live in our serving areas. This is just one small thing we felt was the right thing to do in these circumstances. We send our thoughts to everyone in the North dealing with the pandemic, and we thank all our customers for their continuing loyalty during this tough time."

CityWest serves communities across northwest British Columbia, from Prince Rupert along the highway 16  corridor to Houston in the east and into Kitimat to the south.
