Short window of opening for Prince Rupert Landfill this Holiday weekend

If a quick trip out to the Ridley Island landfill site was part of your stay-cation planning in Prince Rupert, you will have but a short opportunity on Saturday to drop your items off at the site.

The City of Prince Rupert released the schedule of Holiday weekend hours today,  with the Ridley Island site closed Friday, Sunday and Monday.

On Saturday, the site will be Open from 10 AM to 3:45.

The City also reminds residents of the enhanced measures that are now in place at the landfill site, the new rules for use of the site were outlined on March 30th, you can review the details here.
