Northern BC Tourism set to launch Tourism Resiliency program across region

The challenges ahead no doubt seem daunting for those who rely on the tourism sector for their livelihoods and income and in the face of the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Northern BC Tourism is set to launch a new program to offer guidance and support.

The Northern BC Tourism Resiliency program was introduced today, which will offer one-on-one support to access and navigate programs that are now available or will be made available in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

A wider overview of the program is planned for Tuesday morning, when Northern BC Tourism will offer a webinar to explain further how the program will work and what those who work in the industry can gain from it.

That event takes place at 9:30 AM on Tuesday and requires pre registration you can explore that process here.

In the Prince Rupert area, Tourism Prince Rupert continues to provide for timely updates on a range of themes related to the current COVID-19 health emergency and the larger view on tourism for the days when guests will once again be welcomed back to the region.

You can explore those areas of note from the COVID-19 Resources page here.

To learn more about what's available locally or other tourism related areas of interest you can use the contact page from Tourism Prince Rupert to get answers or leave messages.
