And now a word for British Columbians from Doctor Bonnie Henry

The BC Centre for Disease Control COVID-19 dashboard

To keep everyone on track and on message, the Province of British Columbia has released a short video from Provincial Health Officer Doctor Bonnie Henry, with one of the two principles in the provincial response to COVID-19 (the other being Health Minister Adrian Dix) offering her thanks for the efforts of British Columbians and asking for a continued commitment to work required.

The message comes following some strong success in recent weeks in slowing down the rate of infection in British Columbia; as of the last report from Saturday, the Northern Health region has only recorded 34 confirmed cases of the virus.

A chance for residents of this region to take part in COVID-19 virtual Town Hall will come up this Wednesday at 7:15, streamed live across the province.

The latest date from the British Columbia Centre for Disease Control can be reviewed here.

The next update for British Columbia, which will include data from this past weekend will be delivered at 3PM today.

You can review the notes from Dr. Henry, Minister Dix and other government officials from our archive page here.
