Hopes for Inflation relief, assistance on Housing, Infrastructure atop the wish list for Federal Budget today

will deliver the Federal Budget to Canadians this afternoon


Federal Finance Minster Chrystia Freeland will deliver the Liberal Government's financial blue print this afternoon at 1PM BC time, the Minister looking to balance the calls for spending with the prospect of financial challenges ahead for the economy.

The Prime Minister and Finance Minister offered up a sneak preview of some of the themes that will be unveiled as part of the Budget speech later today.

Making life affordable for families

Strengthening the Universal Public Health Care System

Building a Green economy to create more middle class jobs in Canada

Both Provincial and municipal governments across the Nation have their own list of concerns  that they hope to see addressed in the budget, high among them, additional money for housing, transportation and infrastructure programs.

On Monday, Opposition Leader Pierre Poilievre noted of his expectations of the Liberal Budget as well as to make use of some familiar themes as he framed how the Conservatives view the state of the country heading into the Budget presentation.



He, his party and all of the Opposition members, along with those of us across Canada will find out what's ahead for 2023 and the years to follow from the Finance Minister in just a few short hours.
