With the snow now hopefully banished and the temperatures this week scheduled to edge up towards the double digits, the arrival of Spring is setting the stage for some sprucing up of homes around the region and community's in some places.
Metlakatla is one with some plans, the First Nation community across the harbour from Prince Rupert has set this Wednesday for a Community Clean Up, with Ferry Service available for those members on this side of the harbour to cross over to lend a hand.
