We're still a few months away from the Summer starting festival of Seafest, but those days will fly by fast as participants from Prince Rupert and afar make their plans for participating in the highlight event of Seafest the Saturday parade.
Last week, Prince Rupert's Special Events Society issued the first call for applications for the popular parade, a chance for early birds to secure their spot and start their planning.
The theme for Seafest 2023 is "Under the Sea" so we may see a few Pineapples and Sponge Bob References we imagine as the parade gets closer.
But really the options are limitless for those with a creative view of how to work the them for their float presentation this year.

The 45th celebration of Seafest takes place from June 9-11 this year.
