An opportunity to learn more about the organization dedicated to making sure that Prince Rupert residents have some fun social experiences is hosting its Annual General Meeting this Wednesday.
That as the current membership offers a glimpse into the work of the Prince Rupert Special Events Society.
The AGM session takes place Wednesday evening at 7PM at the Civic Centre
The most recent work of the Society came with the Prince Rupert Children's Festival which make a much welcome return to the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre on March 4th.
Still to come for 2023, The Big event of the year of Seafest from June 9-11, Canada Day on July 1st and the annual Winterfest in the first week of December.
Prince Rupert Special Events features a dedicated core of volunteers, but can always use more community involvement to ensure that the four events of the region can take place to their full potential.
You can find out more about those events from the Prince Rupert Special Events website.
To keep up to date on notes prior to Wednesday's AGM and through the year follow the Society through their Social media Feed.
You can contact them at 250-624-9118 or by email at office@prspecialevents.com
