Passing of Penticton player means changes to Coy Cup Tournament

A tragic motor vehicle accident in the Princeton area over the weekend saw the passing of Morton Johnson a popular Penticton area hockey player with that city's Silver Bullets hockey club.

Mr. Johnson was also an Assistant coach with Princeton Posse, he was on his way to a Posse KIJHL  playoff matchup in Revelstoke that he lost his life in the single vehicle accident .

The sad news relayed by the Quesnel Kangaroos yesterday.

With the passing of the popular member of the team, the Silver Bullets withdrew from the tournament on Monday, which has required some changing of the format for the 2023 championship.
