City of Prince Rupert looks to upgrade piece of Public Works equipment

With more work like that on Frederick of a few months ago still ahead
the City of Prince Rupert is looking to upgrade a key piece of equipment

All that infrastructure digging might be takin its toll on the city's public works machinery and with a more ambitions replacement plan ahead, the City is looking to upgrade one of its earth moving machines .

A Bid to the BC Bid website puts forward a call for bids for Bobcat E55, New or used, as long as it has capacity for 14,000 to 18,000 pounds.

The deal is noted as one that is dependent on budgetary approval. 


The Scope of the purchase outlines for vendors just what it is that the City is looking for when it comes to its Bobcat plans.


The Closing Date for Bids to supply the equipment is set for 2 PM on February 19th.

The City's timeline is targeting April, with the acquisition noted as required by April 2nd, with Delivery to the City's Public Works yard no later than April 29th.

The arrival just in time to get to work on a busy spring and summer of waterline replacement work and other duties.
