Prince Rupert And District Chamber of Commerce opens up nomination period for 2023-24 Business Excellence Awards

The blue print is set for the 2023-24 Business Excellence Awards in Prince Rupert, with the Prince Rupert and District Chamber of commerce setting Saturday, April 6th as the date for the Awards presentation at the Lester Centre of the Arts.


Before they get to handing out those awards though, the Chamber is taking nominations for twelve categories showcasing a wide range of the business experience in the Prince Rupert region.

The update on the road ahead relayed through social media on Monday.

Among the Categories for this years Awards Ceremony are:

Community Involvement 
Dining Distinction
Home-Based Business Excellence 
Indigenous Peoples Entrepreneurship 
Individual Customer Service Excellence 
Industry and Manufacturing Excellence 
Not For Profit of the Year 
Professional Excellence 
Retail Excellence 
Rookie Business of the Year 
Tourism and Accommodation Excellence 
Young Entrepreneur of the Year

Details related to the criteria for the nominations and the nomination form can both be found from the Chamber of commerce website here.

The Deadline for nominations to be in to the Chamber is February 12th

Once in hand, the Chamber will put together its list of nominees for each category and then turn it over to the community, with voting to take place staring March 21st, we will have ten days to deliver our votes before the voting period closes.
