The Northern Expedition on its way
to Prince Rupert Monday afternoon,
an additional sailing has been added
owing to heavy demand
It's another day of additional sailings for BC Ferries between Prince Rupert and Haida Gwaii with the Northern Expedition set to make two trip over the next 24 hours between the Skidegate and Prince Rupert Terminals.

The First sailing of the day departed Skidegate at 10 AM and will arrive at Prince Rupert at 5 this evening.

Later this evening, the ferry will turn around and make the reverse journey to Skidegate departing Prince Rupert at 10 PM arriving at Skidegate at 7 AM.

Heavy vehicle and commercial traffic demand is behind the extra sailing, the second time in the last two weeks that BC Ferries has had to make an addition to the regular schedule.

You can review the Service Notice for today's extra journey below.
