École Roosevelt Park School gets the spotlight in SD52 submission for CTV's 150th Anniversary project

École Roosevelt Park School is ready for it's close up!

A call from the CTV Television network for video submissions on community life across Canada has seen School District 52 submit a video for consideration by the national television broadcaster.

Vice-Principal Peter Scott from École Roosevelt Park Community School put together the video montage, providing a ten minute presentation on what a Day in the Life of SD 52 looks like.

The video features a photo display of the students from the school, along with the comments of a number of school officials, teachers and support workers from the School District.

The main focus however is found with the students of École Roosevelt Park, who in French, English and Sm'algyax, explain what it means to them to be Canadian.

There is no word yet if the Roosevelt production has made the short list for the final CTV project, we'll keep you updated as we learn more about the fate of the local contribution.
