A CIHL championship will mean a journey North for the Rampage

Should the Prince Rupert Rampage find success in this years goal to claim the CIHL championship, thoughts of a Coy Cup championship will mean a journey north ... way, way north.

The venue for the 2017 Senior Men's championship was announced this week and the Whitehorse Huskies will be the host for the Holy Grail of Senior Men's hockey this year.

The Huskies received the welcome news, which saw them come out on top of the balloting against the Fort St. John Flyers who also had a bid in for the grand finale for the hockey season.

Last years Coy Cup tournament was hosted by Terrace, with the Whitehorse team edging the River Kings by a score of 3-2 to win the championship round.
