Boston Pizza continues on with the search for Prince Rupert investors

With Prince Rupert soon to be digging into the food options from the Pita Pit, it seems that the North Coast is showing up on the radar for national food chains looking to expand their brands into the region.

Among those giving the North Coast a glance, is Boston Pizza which once again has Prince Rupert listed as a potential spot for an entrepreneur to launch their restaurant ambitions.

Offering up the opportunity to explore the two models that have proven popular across Canada, including locations in Terrace and Smithers.

As we noted back in 2013, the national restaurant chain occasionally tests the waters on the North Coast, when Boston Pizza put out a call for interested investors to keep in touch.

Should they find the right investors this time around, it would mark a return to the Prince Rupert market for the national brand, though things have changed quite a bit in both the food industry and the model that Boston Pizza has found success with since the chain last was seen in the city.

The Boston Pizza experience offers two models for would be franchisees to explore. one offering up a family dining experience, the other a sports bar model. With either making for a popular gathering spot for sports teams, after work get togethers, or other lager gatherings.

The menu options have also seen a significant change from the early days, with a wider selection of items to be found beyond just the traditional pizza offerings.
