The parade of summer tournaments at the Prince Rupert Golf Course continues this weekend as the club hosts the 2018 edition of the Men's President Cup.
The event which has room for 32 male golfers is set to take place from Friday July 6 through to Sunday July 8th, with a sixty dollar fee for each player taking part.
The event uses a match play format using handicaps.
The opening round of nine holes is set for 5:30 on Friday, with a 9 hole match again on Saturday morning.
There will be a redraw prior to the Saturday Afternoon round of nine.
Two more rounds of nine set are for Sunday the first in the morning, the final round coming after a redraw prior to its start.
All participants are guaranteed 4 rounds of nine hole golf, though not all of the potential 32 golfers will be guaranteed a fifth round of play by the tournaments end.
You can find out more information about this weekend's event by stopping by the Pro Shop at the Course, or contacting the Pro Shop at 250-624-2000.
Following the final 9 hole math there will be a dinner for the entrants and the distribution of prizes to those who have had the most success on the weekend's golfing excursion.
