Last week seems to have brought about somewhat of a shift in some of the City's hiring strategies as it moves forward into 2022, along with a surge of new career opportunities heading into February.
With the City of Prince Rupert turning over recruitment for a number of civic positions to Richardson Executive Search an Alberta based Executive Search company.
The Executive Search organization outlines their focus for customers as follows:
"At Richardson Executive Search (Richardson), we believe actions speak louder than words, especially for our clients: the best-of-the-best businesses, organizations, and executives in Canada and the United States.
The City of Prince Rupert is calling on the employment placement skills of an Alberta company for some current Operations Department positions (From City of Prince Rupert website) |
The employment ads are all related to Five Operations Department related positions.
They include:
Utilities Inspector Supervisor (Public Works)
Site Supervisor (Public Works)
Heavy Duty or Automotive Mechanic (Public Works)
Engineering Technologist (Public Works)
Assistant Operations Manager (Public Works)
The call for applicants for the Operations Manager notes of the potential for additional openings for the position as the City grows its team.
All of the positions direct applicants to forward their Resumes and applications to the Richardson Alberta offices with an Alberta phone number the contact number should would be applicants have questions or need more information.
While the Alberta firm handles the applications, the City's policy on COVID Vaccination remains in place.
First introduced in November of last year it notes that any successful external applicant for any position with the City of Prince Rupert will be required to be fully vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination.
