Metlakatla to resume Ferry service on Monday

With COVID cases on the decline in the community of Metlakatla, the First Nation has announced that as of Monday,  Ferry service to and from Prince Rupert will resume.

The announcement came through the M  FN Facebook page.

 

Service was cancelled on February 4th as a number of Positive cases of the coronavirus were reported through the early part of the month. At one point Metlaktala had seen a total of ten confirmed cases reported so far in February.

The decision to resume the service comes following a number of days with no further cases reported.
