Opening Day for the Urban Loo and The City's Eat Street plans may be getting close as City of Prince Rupert workers continue to work around the site |
City Workers have been taking advantage of some decent weather of late to move forward on the city's plans for a new dining experience in the downtown core area, with some new work on the Eat Street Project taking place last week and this, with the levelling of the site complete and what appears to be some electrical service put in place for the site.
The location at the corner of Third West and Eighth Street directly behind Friendship House on Fraser, will feature a number of Food Trucks once it is opened, as well as the UrbaLoo washroom facility, which has been in place since the fall, but has yet to be opened to the public.
Electrical service has been added to the Eat Street Location in anticipation of the set up of Food Trucks when the new initiative is launched |
So far, no official Opening Date has been revealed by the City.
An expanded look at what's ahead was provided to residents in December, when the Mayor shared a few thoughts about the Food Truck plans for the downtown.
