MLA's entered the second week of the new session with much of the focus on the Speech from the Throne of February 8th, with two of the three Northwest MLA's providing very different takes on the government's blue print.
The week also saw the first step into the relaxation of COVID related measures as the province lifted restrictions on Gatherings and Events
This week also included some new for motorists as the province made changes to how ICBC renewals take place British Columbia.

For our readers from the Terrace-Kitimat region, Skeena MLA Ellis Ross was mentioned three times in the record for the week in the Legislature from February 14-17
His week in the Chamber opened with a review of the elements of Bill 4, with Mr. Ross focusing on how in his opinion it is failing to meet the government's definition of its UNDRIP legislation.
He followed up more extensively on that theme on Wednesday afternoon with comments starting at 4:25 of the midweek session.
Thursday he brought his work for the week in the Legislature to a close with a thirty minute review of the Speech from the Throne.
As the week came to a conclusion Mr. Ross spoke out towards events near Houston and a violent incident that took place at the Coastal GasLink work camp.
The Skeena MLA is not currently assigned to any Parliamentary committees

For our readers from the Bulkley Valley area, Stikine MLA Nathan Cullen was mentioned once in the record for the week in the Legislature from February 14-17.
The topic of the Throne Speech made for Mr. Cullen's commentary for the week, as he provided a review of the government's blue print for the session ahead.
Also on Friday, the Stikine MLA provided a potential hit to some changes ahead for the make up of the John Horgan cabinet.
As the week progressed, he also provided commentary and observations through his social media stream to relay information and guidance for constituents.
Mr. Cullen also had comment about the Coastal GasLink incident in his constituency near Houston, expressing his concerns through his Facebook portal.
