CIHL playoffs launch tonight, as Rampage hit the Road to Kitimat in Best of three ice breaker

The Prince Rupert Rampage are on the Road tonight for Game One
 of their Best of Three Round One playoff series with Kitimat.
But tomorrow night it will 
be the friendly
 of the Jim for Game Two on Saturday night

It's playoff time for the CIHL and the road towards a shot at the Coy Cup begins in three locations tonight, with the Prince Rupert Rampage set to make the trip to Kitimat for tonight's Game One in a three game showdown.

Puck drop for the first round of the playoff season in Kitimat tonight is set for 7:30, with the Ice Demons looking to bring a large crowd to Tamitik to make the visit a challenge for the Rampage.



The scene with shift to Prince Rupert for Saturday night at the Jim and if required, a Sunday afternoon finale to the three game series.

The results of which will send one team further into the playoff quest and mark the end of the hockey season for the other.

For those heading down to the Jim for Saturday's contest, the Port of Prince Rupert's Donation Station will once again be open, with the Port's fundraising efforts once again looking to add to the totals already generated by generous Rampage fans.  



The two other series that will launch tonight feature the Terrace River Kings travelling to Hazelton for a match up with the Hazelton River Kings.

Further east, the Williams Lake Stampeders will be in Fort Saint James to take on the Nechako North Stars.
