With 'misinformation' circulating around town, Prince Rupert Minor Hockey issues reminder of current COVID restrictions which remain in place




The Executive of Minor Hockey in Prince Rupert has made use of their Social Media stream today to provide reminder for parents of youth playing hockey in the community, that some COVID related measures are still in place.

With the focus for the statement PRMHA Executive members Jamie Malthus and Tina Helgason-Mack that of the requirement towards providing proof of vaccination.

The statement providing guidance that If a patron/parent who refuses to provide proof of vaccination to the volunteers, the next step is a call to police, as provided by the British Columbia mandate.

The notice for those who enjoy the hockey experience at the Civic Centre was issued after the Executive heard of some significant mis-information related to the current measures in place making its way around the community.
