Rampage readers crack the books Thursday for Family Literacy Day

Members of the Prince Rupert Rampage will be putting down their hockey sticks and picking up a few good books tomorrow as the CIHL squad once again celebrates Literacy at the Prince Rupert Library.

As party of Family Literacy Day,  players from the community minded hockey club will be settling in for an hour of reading with two sessions planned at the Sixth Avenue West library on Thursday.

The first half of their visit will see the Rampage taking part in the reading session for youngsters up to five years of age from 6:30 to 7:00 PM

The next half hour from 7:00 to 7:30 PM, the players will be reading along to books geared towards young people ages six and above.

More notes on the always popular event can be found from the Rampage Facebook page.

There is no admission for the event with the Library session sponsored by both the Prince Rupert Rampage Hockey Club and the Prince Rupert Port Authority.

Updates on other Community events can be found on our Community Notes archive.
