A Nisga'a elder has pretty well claimed the title to most interesting Christmas correspondence this year, with Ms. Emma Nyce receiving thanks from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for a gift that Ms. Nyce sent them last year.
During the visit of the Royal Couple and their children to Canada they were presented with homemade knitted toques hand spun by Ms. Nyce and for her efforts she found a special correspondence in the mail.
The Nisga'a Lisims Government website Shared the thank you note through their website this week.
Her correspondence from Royalty has made Ms. Nyce somewhat of a Northwest celebrity, with radio CFNR checking in with her last week to get her reaction to the letter from Kensington Palace.
