Premier Clark and Minister Rich Coleman on North Coast today

The Premier and Minister Rich Coleman
will be on their way to Lax Kw'alaams
later today for a meeting with the community
Political watchers will want to keep a look out for some high profile politicians on the streets of Prince Rupert today, with Premier Christy Clark and Natural Gas and Housing Minister Rich Coleman set to arrive in the community this morning.

Though you may not have an opportunity to see much of them around the city, with the main focus of their travels looking to be a community gathering planned for Lax Kw'alaams over the noon hour.

They will be making the trip up Tuck inlet later today to meet with members of that community at 12:30 at the Recreation Centre in the Reg Sampson Memorial Gym.

No details have been outlined as to what residents of the community can expect from the conversation, but it would seem that LNG development and housing issues may be at the top of the themes for discussion on the day.

There has been no indication to this point from the provincial government, as to whether the pair have any discussions planned with officials from other municipalities in the region during their stop in the Northwest.
