NWCC uses video presentation to put focus on Prince Rupert program of Applied Coastal Ecology

The Prince Rupert campus of NWCC is in the spotlight this month with
a video feature highlighting the Coastal Ecology program

The Applied Coastal Ecology program has long been one of the more popular of course program offerings through the Prince Rupert campus of Northwest Community College, and with the New Year underway, NWCC is putting a bit of a spotlight on the ACE program.

As part of their ongoing Educational Update project, NWCC offers up a glimpse into the program has to offer and what career opportunities are available for those that have enrolled in it.

Among some of the career paths that ACE students can follow are in marine research, stock assessment, fisheries lab work as well as employment with DFO, or the many Fisheries Management organizations found along coastal BC and on inland waters.

Our tour guide for the NWCC look at the ACE program is student Jamie Martz.

You can review what the program is all about from the home page for ACE on the NWCC website.
