103 nominees await their fate, as Chamber prepares to announce finalists for Business Awards vote

In six days time the Prince Rupert and District Chamber of Commerce will whittle down a list of 103 nominated businesses naming those that will move forward for 2016-17 Business Excellence Awards.

The announcement of those that will move on to the public voting process will be made as part of the Nominees Reception from 6 to 9 PM on Tuesday, January 24th at the North Coast Meeting and Convention Centre.

The list of nominees for the first round were collected through December as residents of the North Coast submitted those businesses and services that have made an impression on them over the course of the last year.

The expansive list of nominees in fifteen categories provides a view of the cross section of business options available in the city, with 32 nominees found in the Customer Service category alone.

Once the finalists for the voting phase have been announced, residents of the North Coast will be able to cast their vote from January 25th to February 10th.

The Awards will be handed out at the Gala Celebration at the Lester Centre on March 4th.
