With the Legislature session coming to a close last week (and with it MLA Gary Coons heading off into the political sunset), the race for the North Coast is officially underway.
A one person race at the moment, with only NDP hopeful Jennifer Rice as a declared candidate.
Through the weeks leading up to the May 14th election, we'll offer up the North Coast's homepage for election items, A catalogue of information on the candidates (we do hope there is more than one!), as well as polling information province wide and other items of note on the campaign trail.
Our political portal will be an expansion of our regular feature From the Legislature, which has been providing information on developments both locally and from Victoria on provincial politics and issues.
As the Election Desk evolves on the way to May 14th we'll be adding items that we think may be of interest.
Our portal could be the way to start every day to track the developments on the North Coast and beyond.
