The Daybreak North Prince Rupert Branch will be taking their show on the road Friday morning, actually it's more like up the street, as morning host Carolina de Ryk sets up shop at Java Dot Cup, located at 516 3rd Avenue.
It's part of the CBC's efforts towards Food Bank Day in British Columbia, and for the local project Ms. de Ryk will be at the local coffee shop, as part of the local segment of the Friday morning event running from 7 AM to 9 AM.
With the CBC morning host settled snugly in her chair, in hopes that her audience soon will appear.
Joining her through the morning, will be special musical guests the Rolling Tones, providing some musical accompaniment to the festivities for the Food Bank drive.
Perhaps, we may even hear Daybreak North Producer George Baker providing harmony as part of a one man Daybreak chorale.
Listeners of the Daybreak North program can drop and say hello, see how some radio is made and while they are there, make a food bank donation or cash donation towards the food banks of Northern British Columbia.
