With the Toronto Raptors on the west coast for game six of the NBA Finals, the City of Prince Rupert's Recreation Department has issued the invite for all Raptor fans to assemble tonight at the Arena in the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre.
The North Coast version of Jurassic Park makes for its second appearance, with Raptor fans hoping for a slightly different outcome tonight than what played out in the final seconds of Game Five on Monday.
The Raptors currently hold a 3-2 lead over the two time defending champions and hope to put away the Warriors as part of their Oakland appearance.
To help with the motivation, British Columbia's Sarah Mclachlan will be singing the Canadian National anthem prior to the start of tonight's showdown and she was just a little bit excited at the prospect on twitter yesterday.
Like they did for Game Five, the City has the game up on the Big Screen in the Arena with the doors opening at 530 for the 6PM tip off.
Tonight's crowd will be able to take advantage of the many offerings of the Arena canteen which will be open as part of tonight's viewing party.
Resident's of the city will most likely know the outcome of tonight's game shortly after it comes to an end, just open a door and listen for the sound of horns honking, a sure indication that the NBA title will be making its way North of the 49th parallel for the first time in history.
The City has created a Facebook page for tonight's event which you can review here.
