School District to recognize service with School awards assemblies

As the final days of the 2018-19 School year begin to countdown, SD 52 is preparing to salute those teachers and staff members who have reached milestones of service withe District.

The annual awards recognize years of service of 5, 15, 25 and 25 years plus as well as those employees who are retiring from the District with the end of the school year.

On the list of those taking their final bows are Marlene Clifton with 33 years of service, Beth Palmer also with 33 years, Mike Kerrigan with 21 years and Elaine Juetten with 16. 

Also being recognized upon their retirement, are Helena Geske with 9 years of service and Sharon Green with 6.

In total 70 School District employees will be honoured at school assemblies across the city over the next few days, the list of achievement as released by the School District can be reviewed below:
