Kootenay/McKay Dog Park reopens, following repairs to fencing

Bark in business ... the City's Dog Park has been reopened to the public
as repairs have been made to the perimeter fencing

Prince Rupert's canines and their owners can now run free on the vast expanses of Kootenay/McKay Dog Park with the city of Prince Rupert announcing that it has reopened to the public after repairs to the fencing of the city facility.

The message was transmitted to residents through the city's website, Facebook Page and mobile app on Saturday.



The Dog Park had been closed to the public since June 6th, following a vehicle incident that had resulted in damage to the fence, leaving a gap for the dogs to make a break for it had the felt the call of extended freedom.
